Tishcon Corp. Donates Over 6 Million Kids' Vitamins to Vitamin Relief USA For Hurricane Relief (VRUSA):
Vitamin Relief USA gratefully accepted a donation of 100,000 bottles of children's chewable multi-vitamin/mineral supplements from Tishcon Corp. Tishcon's contribution to hurricane relief is in addition to the over eight million children's chewables that it annually donates to VRUSA for needy, homeless and poor children in the U.S. "This is an extraordinary display of corporate generosity, and, on behalf of the young victims of Katrina and Rita, we deeply thank our friends at Tishcon Corp. as well as all the companies who have contributed to our relief effort," says Michael Morton, Executive Director of VRUSA.

Tishcon donates 1 million children's chewable multivitamins to Vitamin Angels:
Tishcon Corp. stepped forward as the first donor in an industry-wide campaign to collect vitamins for post-war relief efforts in Iraq, announced Howard Schiffer, president of Vitamin Angel Alliance. Tishcon donated 1 million vitamins to the Vitamin Angel Alliance. "We are enormously grateful to Raj and Arun Chopra for responding to our call with their generous donation," Schiffer said. "Half the population of Iraq is under the age of 15, and our industry is in a unique position to save many young lives. We hope other companies will follow Tishcon's lead and provide the multivitamins, childrens chewable vitamins and vitamin C needed for this effort."

Mr. PALLONE. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize the gracious humanitarian efforts of the Tishcon Corporation, a company that manufactures vitamins and nutritional supplements. Throughout the years, this company has generously donated vitamins, nutritional supplements, money, and time to benefit those in need around the world.
In addition to providing multivitamins for children, Tishcon Corporation has provided over 2,500 multivitamins to atrisk homeless adults and senior citizens every day. Not only does this company provide vitamins and supplements to those in need, they have also donated money to assist in the distribution of these as well.
I ask my colleagues in the United States House of Representatives to join me in recognizing the outstanding humanitarian accomplishments of Tishcon Corporation, an exemplary model of corporate humanity and citizenship in today's world of business.
